okay i shall talked about obs today. and im starting to miss everyone from Hillary and Nila Utama. have fun with you guys, really!
day 1:
arrived at the Pungool Jetty a few hours earlier than the reporting time, everyone was complaining that Mr Phua is too kiasu alr. hahahaha, everyone was like strangers. only make friends with the girls. awkward situation k!
boat to Ubin and our torture begins. hahahah, packed up our Hillary store. bring out all the things, packed neatly and bring it in again. settle all the food with Zhi Xian and bring in the 3 big tubs into the store -.- packed our bags for the expeditions as well :)
trust fall was awesome. Team Hillary's yell really give me the power to do it! (L) you guys! everyone did it!
belay school, learned the "correct" way of how to belay in obs. hahaha. yup climbed a 5 feet tall pole and fall on? quite easy lah. almost flew up when it Zhi Xian's turn cause Maslan is not holding me down at all k. -embarassing-
with the help of our brain, tbg was easy peasy. pushed one another off the ground with our hands on our heads and our feet straight on the ground. so cool lah. after several times without giving up we made it :)
pitched our tents near the belay school with the ants and the flies. cooked our food with messtins, bathe in freezing cold water and finally lights out. everyone was like strangers and only talked to their own school mates. haiz.
day 2:
setting off for expedition! carried our heavy backpacks along with us for expedition and the worse thing is the carry a 4L waterbottle with you! gosh is damn tiring k. your back is like gonna break apart anytime mann. hahaha. walked up a hill and many slippery rocks. Ceci, our cunning insructor, she tricked us lah. after we passed by a farm than she put up a yellow card which we are supposed to find so we have to walk back again. :(
oh yeah about the fun! let me tell you a myth/rumour/real story. im not sure is which so yeah. there was this old woman who lives inside a damn old hut in pulau ubin k. she dont use wok or whatsoever to cook her food and she uses outdoor cooking^^ she only depend on a generator which makes loud grawling sounds and the most weirdest thing is that she have a cow and the cow is the only cow in ubin! hahahaha, can you believe it? according to Donal Duck the cow eats people!
k back to my day 2!
the team helped to build a raft and of course we have to tie ropes on it -.- so here comes the girl guides people to help them with the cross hitch! hahahahahaha. our raft is like 99% succesful k! it didnt break at all but kinda sink down while we are rafting! we are told to compete with Utama and see who reached the shore at the other end first and the obvious winner is.... HILLARY! we made it in 1h50m isit? i couldnt remember. before the time given to us lah. hahahaha! it was really fun during the whole rafting time.
reached kekek? brought up all our untied rafts and lied neatly at the bushes. pitched our tents near the gates of kekek and yeah. for the first time i saw a barshar real life! hahahahah okay i know it sounds weird but still yeah. poor guys that they have to sleep inside :(
wore our life vest after everyone pitched their tents and we are heading off toooooooo.... THE QUARRY! is damn freaking big i swear. oh and according to Sham right, if you dont wear your life vest you drown, you sink right down into some lalaland. damn scary right.
when it was my turn to jump i was shaking lah! i totally went deep inside the water k. DAMN DEEP. all the water went in my nose -.- hahaha! so fun k. me and Bee Hoon tried dog swimming inside. :) sham and ceci followed and jumped in as well. cool right! we have group pictures as well!!!!! shall upload it later!
after our "bath" in the quarry everyone changed out and cooked our dinner. and that night, it was my first night that i peed during obs and somemore it was in the bushes lah! they didnt have toilets there!!!! hahahaha. cool experience k, but those leaves are like poking your ass. painful :(

talked to the guys till 1am cause we are not tired at all. hahaha. we are suppoed to have our night sentry shift at 4am but no one woke us up. we skipped night sentry ^^
day 3:
woke up early in the morning to learn how to kayak. the obs style. hahah. everyone prepared their bags, brought it down to the speed boat and brought the kayaks and the pedals down as well. hahaha. wore our life vest and head down. it was raining in the morning mann, how nice to greet us when it was our first day to learn how to kayak properly -.- hahah. we are told to capsize as well so scary lah, at first. hahahaha, yup Fred and i was in a group and we were the seond pair to go down to try capsizing ^^ went down in the count of three: 1,2,3, and boom. we are down mann. omg damn salty lah the water :$ bleahhhhhhh!
after everyone tried it we head down with our kayaks. our destination was to kayak the whole of ubin and reach camp 2, our first campsite when we first arrived. it might look short when you see on the map but it takes like days to finsh :( Fred and i couldnt get the hand of it and delayed the whole thing, felt kinda bad but after the instructors and my friends taught us, we are starting to move in the correct direction^^ yup some people capsize and we are told to help them. after that heavy storm came after us! DAMN DAMN DAMN SCARY. freda and i almost hit the gates! hahahahaha, safely reached the shore and the 4 leaders discussed the way out while we do our stuff.
some weirdo like Rachel, KC and i stand in a row with a few other ppl blocked by a tally to keep ourself warm while others block WeeHao with the rain (sick :() yup. hahahaha, like some siao people like that right!!!
Ceci cooked some Milo to warm us up and after a while we are off! we didnt stick to our original plan to go a big round while we headed for a shorter route as anoter storm will be coming. according to Ceci, the shorter route was for losers not leaders and yeah we are heading that route.

that campsite is awesome i swear! like omgggg. damn nice lah and for once i thought we will be sleeping in a bunk! carried our things up the hill and the guys pitched the tents and the girls head down to cook. hahaha. Clarice and i was complaining throughout when we were washing the messtin lah. like damn gross, cause the previous night we rinse it in the sea and never really washed it cause water is limited and was important to us so yeah.
cooked damn a lot of maggie mee without any canned food i guess and i felt seasick. like totally swaying when i was sitting down. only ate a few mouth of maggie mee and i wanted to puke :( sad lah!
took a group picture and went up to some foyer place to have our debrief and game session!!
went up hill again to sleep! that whole night i was damn cold, i think i was down with fever. the next morning i woke up damn freezing colddd. everyone was shaking~ pitch down and everything we headed down, put our things and headed for the pirate ship. :(
yeah i was afraid of heights. i've only managed to climb up the ladder and didnt complete the rope course :( yeah i totally cried. how sweet of weehao lah, he finished the high element and said that he done that for me :) awwwww. THATS WHY I LOVE HILLARY!
yeah headed down to the foyer to change to our wet attire to kayak back to camp 2. im damn tanned :(
Freda hurt herself and i couldnt help her ah :( i felt damn bad.
while kayaking we have a break and i put my hand in the water and i saw a jellyfish right next to my hand ah! WL!
reached the campsite, washed the kayaks and brought up our bags. i realised Nila Utama's bag's are lighter than ours. hahahaha, embarassingggg
so sad. unpack our stuff into our own bags and this is our last bathe there, our last time cooking together. :( washed till damn clean that night and tried Chris's sambal maggie noodles and it was damn spicy but awesome!
everyone pitched their barshar and there was a lot of grasshopper :(
that night, Pei Zhi fell down damn badly and Edward was blaming himself for everything lah :(
packed the store, counted and checked some was missing :(
anyway at night like at 2am, 2 wild boars came to visit us! HAHAHAHA, according to Ocean there was 8 waiting to come out lah. i saw the nose only :( but damn tired alr so i fell asleep sitting upwards.
i was swaying when i was sleeping so i fell onto freda who was beside me! HAHAHAHAHA! freda cannot blame, i dreamt that i was capsizing!
day5:
woke up and unpitched the barshar. finished packing everything till 9. our final activity we do together and we all got a certificate of participation and our group photos :) I AM MISSING HILLARY :(
have my last hug with all the girls and some guys at camp 2! so sad lah :( i miss working together as a team, i miss weehao's cap, i miss edward's funny jokes, i miss all the girls to girls talk :)
